The Vision Behind DirectorPrep
We created DirectorPrep to help bridge the gap between understanding governance and succeeding as a director.
Being a governance expert doesn't automatically translate into being an effective director. The best directors combine governance expertise with judgment, emotional intelligence, curiosity, courage, and practical wisdom.

Scott Baldwin
Scott is the visionary behind DirectorPrep. He is a knowledge entrepreneur, certified corporate director (ICD.D), and leader of a board governance advisory services firm. He provides advice to boards and directors in virtually every sector, both for-profit and non-profit.
Scott is recognized as an advisor and educator who helps boards improve their structure, processes, and dynamics so they can be more effective as they work to create enterprise value and make a lasting difference.
Alice Sayant
As a co-founder of DirectorPrep, Alice is our content strategist and the creator of The Savvy Director framework. She is a certified corporate director (ICD.D) and has served on both for-profit and non-profit boards.
Alice’s experience as a director, committee chair, and board chair has given her a chance to observe first hand what directors need to succeed at every stage of their development. She brings her dedication to lifelong learning and passion for continuous improvement to her work at DirectorPrep.
Dave Jaworski
Dave is a co-founder and chief architect for DirectorPrep. He leads the technology vision behind DirectorPrep and ChatDPQ, ensuring directors have practical and secure access to the benefits of responsible AI.
Dave has extensive CEO and for-profit and non-profit board experience. He has led numerous technology companies in the United States and Canada, where he began his career with an upstart Microsoft Corporation. Dave is back at Microsoft, helping some of their largest corporate accounts derive maximum value from technology, including AI.
